"The three day canoe trip on the Zambezi came at the end of a month’s travel around Southern Africa and as the time approached I wished I had returned to UK with my 4 friends who had to leave early as I felt I had travelled long enough and I was apprehensive about the canoe trip. As it turned out the canoeing proved to be the perfect end to an amazing holiday. The staff were absolutely brilliant; Marco a great chef and Sizo a great support in everything he did. However, it was Njabulo who made the trip for us; he was so thoughtful, entertaining, knowledgeable, funny and above all professional. He made us feel very safe in his hands.

The highlights of the trip were the fantastic breakfasts, picnic lunches on white sandy beaches and dinner; the table decorations; the hot bush shower and bowl of hot water outside the tent in the morning; the location of the camp opposite Chundu island; the wine and above all the Wild Dogs!!!!

Kylie, you were also brilliant in everything you did and you certainly made our stay in Zimbabwe a great experience from getting my rucksack fixed to arranging for us to have all our food and drinks at Rest Camp being put on a tab – we’d have been really stuck without you.
