France Defi - Travelled 09-13 November - 22 pax
Day One: We welcomed the group at the airport and transferred them to the newly established David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa in Livingstone. Late afternoon we took the group on an African Princess Sunset Cruise followed by an African Extravaganza Village dinner where we had Shangaan Warriors to welcome the group in true African style and plenty of entertainment in the form of Makishi Dancers, Marimba Band and an interactive Drumming Session.
Day Two: The group's cultural aspect of their trip included a visit to Chief Mukuni's Village where they sampled traditional produce and played a game of football with some of the Villagers. After the group's visit to Mukuni Village they were taken to the Batoka Gorge for a well-deserved picnic lunch. This was a fully packed activities day and during the afternoon the group managed to fit in a Tour of the Falls, and a Croc Farm visit whilst most of the group also went quadbiking on an eco-trail and microlighting over the Victoria Falls.
Day Three: The morning was spent relaxing on the Zambezi River in rafts floating down from Natural Mystic towards an open area on the banks of the River where the group was able to stop for a wholesome lunch, set up under the shade of ebony trees. The group were in for more adrenalin-filled action with a Helicopter flight of Angels. The late afternoon saw the group boarding the Steamtrain and heading for sundowners on the 100 year old Victoria Falls Bridge. On arrival back at Palm Grove siding the group was whisked off to their gala dinner venue, the Royal Livingstone Golf & Country Club for an evening of fine food, wine, entertainment and dancing.
Day Four: The group had an early breakfast at the hotel and we transferred them to Chobe Game Lodge where they spent the following two nights.
Day Six:- We transferred the group from Chobe Game Lodge safely back to the Livingstone Airport where they caught their flight back to Johannesburg.
